Subject: New Testament Textual Criticism
Thesis Title: The Subscriptions to the Pauline Epistles: Their Development and Traditions
Thesis Description:
My thesis is about the subscriptions (end titles) to the Pauline Epistles in Greek New Testament manuscripts. I will transcribe and collate all extant subscriptions to illuminate their charactaristics and development. Once I have a comprehensive view of the textual variants I will investigate possible sources for the traditions found in the subscriptions to the Pauline Epistles and relate to where the epistle was written and/or who carried it or its amanuensis. I will also use the data to investigate the genealogy of manuscripts.
