Tate Modern: Assisting the Curatorial Team with the annual BMW Tate Live Exhibition in March 2020

This is an amazing opportunity for an M4C student to work with the curatorial team producing the annual BMW Tate Live Exhibition in March 2020.

Since the first ground-breaking BMW Tate Live Exhibition in 2017, audiences have experienced an ever-changing programme of installations and live performances. Taking place in the subterranean Tanks, past artists have included Isabel Lewis Fujiko Nakaya, Joan Jonas and in 2019 a solo presentation by Anne Imhof.

This is an excellent chance for you to join a small team and work directly with the Assistant Curator, Performance.  You will learn the key planning and research skills associated with the organisation of performance events within a large institution and contribute to the successful delivery and production.

You will have good organisational and IT skills and be an excellent team player who is able to work flexibly and positively within a small team.

Skills, Knowledge or Experience needed:

The role will require excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be working with artists, performers, curators, directors and the wider Tate team. A can-do attitude and willingness to work outside of core hours to realise projects. Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.
