We are pleased to bring back the ‘InDesign for poster presentations’ training course for the second year running! This is a high quality training opportunity which was very well received last year and produced some great outcomes.
The course will introduce you to the very powerful Adobe InDesign software which can be used to create print and on-line visual communication. It is a program used for professional publishing and will leave you with valuable skills for visualising and communicating your research.
The aim of the course is to produce an A1-sized poster for the upcoming M3C Research Festival (or other conferences – note though, that Research Festival participants will be given preference). This means that you will have to come prepared so that by the end of day 2 you will have finished your poster.
The course will run over two days and you will have to be able to attend both. On the first day you will be familiarised with the software and then apply your newly gained skills on the second day to produce a poster.
The preliminary dates for the two sessions we plan to run at WebStudios training, Nottingham, are 7-8th May and 13-14th May. This will give you time to print off the posters, however, preparation is essential to avoid a last minute printing rush.
